CONSTRUCTION OF WALL-MOUNTED RADIATOR REGULLUS

REGULLUS and Sollarius radiators consist of two main parts: the water system and the heat dissipation segment. Radiator water system is a heat exchanger made of copper (a package of horizontally lying copper pipes DN15, connected with vertical collecting copper pipes DN18, sometimes DN 20 depending on radiator size). The radiator heat dissipation system is a closely combined with horizontal copper pipes, aluminium vertical slats (thin aluminium radiator plates). The slats create a dense aluminium ribbing consisting of a large number of air convection and radiation channels with a undulated radiator wall surface (the front and rear of the radiator). Radiator slats receive the heat through hot water from the surface of the copper pipes and transmits them by air across the room. Elements of the outer casing of the central heating radiator are also made of aluminium. Central heating installation water flowing through the radiator is in contact only with copper pipes which increases the resistance of the heat exchanger to corrosion and rust and enhances their vitality (25 years for individuals, 10 years for companies and hard wet conditions, for a particular purpose version of the radiator for a pool, carwash etc. ask us for a special version of heaters with water resistance painting).

REGULLUS heating radiator upper cover has a rounded top (while SOLLARIUS type S has simple and sharp endings). This is important to the aesthetic and practical parameters, because thermal parameters of REGULLUS heater (type R) have the characteristics of an active radiator (That is, quick room warm up, but also to quick heating cancellation after the end of central heating combustion), while radiators for the Sollarius (S type) series have a greater inertia, heat transfer occurs more slowly wit delay, but after the cancellation of heating, the radiator will be still warm for a while. The practical application of the heating radiator types can be used in eg. in a living room, where rapid heating is a priority orientated for comfort (REGULLUS - type R). In the bathroom or bedroom, a wall-mounted radiator with greater inertia SOLLARIUS (type S), which will be warm after the completion of the combustion process has more sense (eg. the need to dry things).

Small water capacity and lightness determine the high dynamic and performance, allowing easy temperature control of REGULLUS central heating radiator. Quite short in time and with low heating costs of initial expenditure, will the heat radiator reach his full heating performance. The key parameter when selecting a heater is its thermal power, adjust it depending on the room conditions and many other factors.
