The Common Logic Unit (CLU) is the central unit of a hybrid (wired-wireless) Grenton system. It stores the programmed configurations of the smart home system (e.g. button configuration, light scenes, logics, scenarios). The CLU communicates with the other modules included in the smart home via wires and radio if necessary. Stores the configuration of the smart home. Stores data (privacy). Allows the system to be connected to the Internet (remote management of the smart home). Communicates with other components of the Grenton system, either wired or wirelessly. Allows to connect up to 48 modules (or 400 objects) forming the system. Communicates with subsequent CLU modules for larger systems (scalability). Equipped with Z-Wave radio interface (e.g., for connecting roller shutters and skylights). Has an Ethernet port.
