Sonel CMP-3000 belongs to the new generation of clamp meters. It combines innovative solutions, durability and modernity. This is determined by its equipment and capabilities. Flexible clamps (Rogowski coil) with a diameter of as much as 160 mm, which are included as standard, provide easy and safe measurements of AC current up to 3000 A, significantly improving the performance of tests on busbars or in industrial switchgears. The clamps connect to the meter via a 170 cm long cable. This makes the CMP-3000 capable of working away from live components. The user can also maintain greater distance and control with the Sonel Multimeter Mobile app. It provides communication with the meter via Bluetooth. Using it, the CMP-3000 can be used as a recorder, and it can also observe parameters in real time, record results, create reports or remotely control special functions - such as INRUSH inrush current measurement. The meter's hard clamps are designed to facilitate testing in hard-to-reach and tight places. A distinctive tab on the top of the jaws hides the non-contact voltage indicator detector - simply apply it to the wire and watch to see if the LED in the body of the instrument lights up to indicate that voltage has been detected.
