The service includes testing the correct operation of a photovoltaic module using a dedicated meter for photovoltaic installations - the Sonel MPI540 PV. The use of a dedicated device allows us to relate the actually measured current and voltage parameters to STC conditions, which gives the possibility of direct comparison with the data given in the data sheet by the manufacturer. In addition, using a Sonel KT-256 thermal imaging camera, the photovoltaic module is verified for the presence of so-called hotspots, taking into account the guidelines of the respective module manufacturer. The service also includes the repair of bypass diodes if they are found to be damaged by the customer or at the stage of verification of the photovoltaic module's electrical parameters. The extended version of the service additionally includes a comprehensive test using the QuickSun 650Lab simulator. Thanks to the use of this device, we receive a report, which consists of: the execution of a flash test with the plotting of the current-voltage curve, which allows all the basic parameters of a photovoltaic module to be indicated; verification of electrical safety, through the measurement of insulation resistance or leakage current; and a test of the correct operation of bypass diodes. In addition, QuickSun allows an EL (electroluminescence) test to be carried out, which makes it possible to detect hidden defects in the cells in the form of microcracks, among other things.
