The use of wood gasification boiler PROSAT 200

PROSAT 200 boiler is designated for heating up houses, business, functional and technical areas, public service buildings. The most common usage will be applied in a single detached house, production hall or workshop. PROSAT 200 is designed to burn wood with different granulation, from logs and ending up with a mixture of sawdust (wood waste) and logs. The main fuel is wood logs or briquettes. Wood waste in the form of wood chips, wood cuttings are burned with larger logs (as a mix). PROSAT 200 Boiler series is available in models with powers of 18 kW, 25 kW, 40 kW, 60 kW and 80 kW. A fully loaded combustion chamber with properly chosen fuel provides up to 12 hours of burning stability and maintenance-free operation. The depth of the loading chamber depends on the boiler power, so the max. chamber depth changes thru chosen model and is 50cm (for 18kW, 25kW, 40kW), 75cm (60kW) and 100cm (80kW) long. After burning wood in a boiler of this type, a very small amount of ash is left and may be used as fertiliser for plants. Applied boiler controller with a possibility of extension with a remote control in the form of an EKOSTER CONTROL panel allows modulated blowing fan operation within a range of 30-100%. For the construction of the central heating boiler, a high-quality steel is used with a thickness of 8 mm.

Efficient combustion under control

Efficient combustion can hardly occur without the boiler controller in form of microprocessor temperature controller (Ekoster 2), which main task is the fan and circulation pump control of the central heating system. It has a number of features of which the most interesting are the maintaining of the boiler temperature by controlling the blower or blocking the ventilation work at the time of adding new wood. The digital regulator also detects damage of boiler temperature sensor and alerts in case of overheating by 97 °C or the threat of frost when below 0 °C. Automatic shut-off control function after the boiler extinguishes.
