Kumulo is device that combines central heating buffer and domestic hot water exchanger in one unit. In place of two devices, one combined tank is installed to store heat supplied from several sources. "Tank in Tank" design allows free exchange of this heat between hot water and central heating systems. Hot water feeding central heating circuit transfers heat to domestic hot water tank, which allows to obtain appropriate temperature of domestic water. In the lower part of central heating tank there is an enlarged spiral coil which guarantees optimal use of power of solar collectors. It is possible to install a system of three sensors, which allow for constant supervision of heating system temperature for hot water and central heating. Depending on the needs, system is powered only by solar collectors or additionally by a heat pump or a central heating boiler and an electric heater.
Connections of domestic hot water tank, including circulation and temperature sensor, are concentrated in the upper bottom of tank. At the height of the lower and upper supply, temperature sensor muffs are located in outer tank and in the upper tank. By using sensors, heating costs can be reduced in detail and overheating of heating system avoided. Low parking losses contribute significantly to high system efficiency. Additional thermal insulation is provided by an external tank housing made of grey plastic type: skay/PVC, also offered in one of 4 additional colours.
Tank interior covered with EXTRA GLASS® ceramic enamel. The enamel applied by "wet" method and fired at high temperature fills all microcracks precisely. Magnesium anode is used to optimize stand-alone performance. An additional protection of tank is connection: PLASTIC SLEEVE® and RESIST-TECH® guarantee corrosion protection for the entire tank surface.
