Waterdos CAN 11

Hardness stabilizer and corrosion protection agent in one. Waterdos CAN 11 is a brown liquid with a density of 1.13±0.03 g/cm³ (20 °C), pH (1%) 8.5±0.3 with a freezing point of -150 ° C.

Application of Waterdos CAN 11

Waterdos CAN 11 is a special anti-corrosion agent for central heating systems who meets the VDI 2035 requirements. Waterdos CAN 11 has components that stabilize hardness and clean liquid in a closed loop circuit system.

The advantages of applying a protective liquid to the heating system

• water treatment
• effective anti-corrosion for iron, cast iron, cast iron alloy, copper, aluminum-copper alloy, solder alloy by creating a protective layer on the metal surface, both in homogeneous and mixed systems in terms of used materials.
• contains anodic and cathodic inhibitors, which slow down the chemical reactions of oxidation
• very good buffering properties (acceptable range 7.0-8.5 pH)
• dispersing of corrosive particles, allowing to maintain the purity of the surface of the equipment and the liquid itself
• stabilizing the hardness of water (eliminating the deposition of calcium)
• lack of hydrazine and nitrate, which is more environmentally friendly
• neutral to the applied seals (EPDM, NBR, PB, PP, PTFE, VPE, hydraulic hemp, butyl rubber, polyacrylate, and polycarbonate)

Dosage of heating WATERDOS CAN11

Dosing is depending on the corrosivity of water inlet into the closed configuration and ranges between 1-2% volume of the installation (ie. 10-20 kg per m3). In closed systems, dosing takes place in the intensive mixing like the filling pump through the inlet gate.
