Microprocessor temperature boiler controller EKOSTER 2 is a blower fan and central heating pump steering system with an exhaust gases temperature sensor.

Boiler protection system against freezing and overheating

The boiler controller protects the central heating system against freezing by turning on the circulation pump when the temperature drops to 4 °C or lower. Exceeding the temperature above 97 °C turns off the blower fan and at the same time turns on the circulation pump to dissipate excess heat. Boiler overheating is signaled by pulsation of the temperature indicator.

COMFORT SYSTEM boiler controller function

EKOSTER 2 has a built-in COMFORT SYSTEM, which prevents the attached circulation pump blocking by lime deposits between the rotor and stator. The boiler controller automatically starts the pump after the heating season for about 30 seconds every 14 days. The operation of the pump in this mode is signaled by pulsation of the pump symbol. The system begins to work 1 minute after switching on the regulator.

Remote boiler control

The controller is adapted to connect the remote EKOSTER Control panel, which allows you to control and change the current boiler temperature setpoint, preview of the central heating pump status and changing the boiler operating mode START / STOP. Built-in buzzer alarms when the boiler temperature rises to dangerous levels. Remote control with 10 meter cable is not included in the controller and is an accessory bought separately.
