DEFRO K1Pv4 Controller

The DEFRO K1Pv4 series temperature controllers are designed for central heating (C.O.) boilers. They control the central heating pump (C.O.), domestic hot water pump (C.W.U.), two additional pumps (underfloor heating pump, buffer pump, circulation pump, additional C.O. pump, or additional CWU pump), blower (fan), fuel feeder, built-in valve, and optionally two three-way or four-way valves. The controller can work with a GSM module, an internet module, and a room thermostat (two-state or equipped with RS communication).

The regulator is adapted to control the feeder with variable speeds and an igniter. It features fan support with a flowmeter, which further enhances the regulation of operation. The main advantage of this controller is its simplicity of use. The user makes all parameter changes via a clear, colorful touch display.

Functions performed by the controller:

• Innovative ADAPTIVE CONTROL using a turbine flowmeter ensures optimal selection of fan and feeder operation parameters;
• Operation based on PID regulation algorithm - calculating blower power based on the boiler temperature and exhaust gas temperature measured at the boiler outlet;
• Ability to export temperature history to external USB memory;
• Capability to work with an extractor fan module;
• Control of the fan and screw feeder;
• Standard control of the mixing valve actuator;
• Weekly control;
• Control of the C.O. and C.W.U. pumps;
• Control of two additional pumps;
• Fuel level monitoring in the hopper, based on user calibration;
• Compatibility with room thermostats with traditional (two-state) communication, e.g., ST-292v3, or RS communication, e.g., SPK Lux - works exclusively with controllers distributed by DEFRO. Room thermostats are sold separately;
• Option to connect the ST-65 GSM module - enables control of some functions via a mobile phone (exclusively distributed by DEFRO) - optional extra;
• Option to connect the ST-505 Ethernet module or WIFI RS module - allows for function control and parameter monitoring via the internet (exclusively distributed by DEFRO) - optional extra;
• Option to connect two additional valve control modules (exclusively distributed by DEFRO) - optional extra;
