The buffer tanks of the HPH Hygienic series have been designed for efficient and hygienic domestic hot water preparation in flow mode. The product uses the accumulated thermal energy from the heating system and transfers it directly to the domestic water through an integrated large-surface heat exchanger. As a result, the water is heated quickly and only at the moment of consumption — minimizing energy losses and making the solution particularly advantageous in low-temperature heating systems (e.g., heat pumps).
The heat exchanger is made of corrugated stainless steel tube AISI-316L, a material with high corrosion resistance and hygienic properties. The design of the exchanger limits the risk of bacterial growth (including Legionella), so the tank does not require elevated disinfection temperatures. This allows economical and safe preparation of hot water without the need for periodic heating to very high temperatures.
HPH Hygienic tanks can work as a separating element of glycol–water circuits, as well as for connecting two heat sources operating at different working pressures. Thanks to their durable, maintenance-free design, the devices do not require annual maintenance or magnesium anode replacement — reducing operating costs compared to traditional enamelled water heaters.
The use of an HPH Hygienic tank is a choice of an energy-efficient solution, safe for users’ health, and requiring minimal maintenance. It is a modern alternative to classic enamelled water heaters.
