Horizontal heat exchanger with a coil placed can cooperate with any heat source, central heating boiler e.g. for solid fuels. During heating season, tank can be heated by means of a boiler, and after that period it is possible to heat up domestic hot water (hot water) by means of an optionally available electric heater with 5/4" thread.
As the manufacturer is a family business, main emphasis is on quality of tanks, not on quantity. Therefore, the thickness of steel sheet from which tank is made is 3 mm and bottom is as much as 4 mm. An important factor which also proves quality is the fact that steel comes from Polish producers.
Tank is resinized with EPIDIAN.Manufacturer has been using and developing this method of corrosion protection for over 14 years. The biggest advantage of this type of protection is fact that resin is very flexible. The most common tank protection on the market is enamel. It is a very effective protection provided that it is made solidly. One drawback of enamel tanks is fact that enamel coating fired at high temperature is brittle. In case of an accidental fall or impact, enamel can be splashed and raw steel exposed. Second argument in favour of a resin tank is that during operation, heating and cooling of tank, steel expands and contracts. Micro-cracks in enamel tank occur due to stiffness of enamel. In microcracks corrosion process can start. To prevent this from happening in enamelled tanks, a magnesium anode is required.
ERMET resinous tanks no magnesium anode is required. When comparing operating costs between enamelled and resin tank, cost of periodic replacement of magnesium anode and stamp of installer in warranty card that made replacement should be added to enamelled tank. There is no such need in resin tank so it can be described as practically maintenance-free. Complaints on these tanks are counted below 0.5% in relation to number of tanks sold. This is a result worth boasting about when comparing other manufacturers. No anode replacement is required to keep warranty. In case of a complaint, tank is replaced with a new one.
