Vertical (freestanding), domestic hot water storage tank with a double walled jacket used for accumulation and storage of hot water in residential, business, officess or industrial buildings with hot water storage capability in a range of 80-300 liters.
REQUIRES NO ASSEMBLY OF MAGNESIUM ANODE !
Unlike other double jacket water storage tanks ERMET does not require periodic replacement of the magnesium anode. To prevent corrosion resin-coated hull inside the storage tank protects the water heater from damaging effects of corrosion. The advantage of using resin-coating in storage tanks is the mechanical flexibility of the resining protecion layer, which has a cracking and peeling resistance during pressure changes inside the hot water storage tank.
ERMET DHW vertical storage tank is designed to be mounted and operated in a vertical position only. It can be connected to the local water supply system with a static pressure not exceeding 0.6 MPa (which is equivalent to 6 bars).
DHW storage cylinder ERMET is economical and efficient thanks to the accumulation of warm water. The water in the storage tank is heated up through a coil heat exchanger connected with the central heating boiler or furnace, which supplies heat received by the coil. Hot water tank outside hull is encapsulated in a polyurethane coating with thermal isolation properties which reduces hot water heat losses into o the environment.
In standard the double jacket DHW storage tank from ERMET does not have an electric heater, but you can choose one from the available for boiler optional accessories and mount it very easily. Electric heater for the storage tank come in 1.5 kW , 2 kW or 3 kW power depending on the capacity. Mountig muff to connect the electric water heater into the DHW storage tank has a standard 5/4" input.
It's worth to take from the accessories for the hot water storage tank a mounting brackets kit, which allows installation of the hot water tank in a horizontal position on the wall.
