The KVS MORAVIA type 9112-V Klaudie kitchen stove with a water heat exchanger combines the advantages of a cooking and baking appliance with those of a central heating boiler. The spacious firebox allows the use of logs up to 450 mm in length and up to 190 mm in diameter. One of the many advantages of this model is the option of flexible chimney connection.
The stove has been designed not only for cooking and baking but also for efficient space heating. The model with a water heat exchanger requires more user attention than versions without a heat exchanger, including more frequent refuelling and grate cleaning. The stove is not designed for continuous operation. The appliance is suitable for heating smaller apartments and holiday cottages.
The stove features a larger firebox at the expense of oven size, which is smaller compared to models 9100 and 9103. Despite its smaller dimensions, the oven is fully functional and equipped with a rack and baking tray. The large firebox door allows logs up to 190 mm in diameter and 450 mm in length. Therefore, this model is ideal when heating is the priority rather than cooking or baking.
The L-shaped water heat exchanger is located at the rear and sides of the firebox (instead of fireclay bricks). Connections to the central heating system are located at the rear of the appliance. Due to limited construction space, the water heat exchanger has smaller dimensions and lower water capacity. Therefore, connection to a forced circulation system (with a pump) is recommended.
The stove is equipped as standard with three flue gas outlets, which can be connected to the chimney from the rear, side, or top (note: when using a ceramic cooktop – side or rear connection only). All outlets are located close to each other – see photo.
The stove is available in right-hand or left-hand versions depending on the chimney outlet position (front view).
Stoves with a water heat exchanger must not be operated without being connected to a heating system!
The stove is equipped with a secondary air supply that supports the combustion process.
The stove can be integrated into kitchen cabinetry using cooling panels. If wall cabinets are installed above the stove, they must be protected from heat and steam, for example by installing a range hood or another insulating element. Failure to do so may result in damage.
This appliance is not classified under "emission classes", but due to its built-in water heat exchanger and output exceeding 10 kW, it is subject to mandatory regular technical inspections in accordance with applicable regulations (inspection every 36 months).
