The KVS MORAVIA stove type 9100-V is designed for burning solid fuels, such as wood and wooden briquettes.
This stove, equipped with a water heater (heat exchanger), combines the advantages of a cooking and baking appliance with a central heating boiler. The materials used in the production of this type are similar to those used in other KVS MORAVIA appliances.
It is constructed in such a way that, while maintaining its cooking and baking functions, its potential can also be used for heating other rooms. The appliance with a water heater requires more frequent fuel adding and grate clearing than appliances without a heater. It is not possible to set it to constant flame operation. This appliance is suitable for heating smaller residential units and cottages.
The stove's firebox traditionally consists of chamotte bricks and is divided into two parts by cast iron grates. This design offers two operating options:
The water heater is located in the lower part of the firebox, in the space between the two grates. The outlets for connection to the central heating system are located on the back of the appliance. Due to limited space in the stove's construction, the water heater is smaller, with a reduced water capacity. Therefore, it is recommended to connect the stove to a circuit with forced water circulation (with a pump).
The appliance with a water heater cannot be operated without connection to a heating system!
The stove's oven is larger, and its equipment includes a grill and a baking tray. It has excellent baking properties due to the stove's construction, as the flame circulates around the entire perimeter of the oven. For this reason, this type of stove is more suitable if you prefer baking and cooking over heating.
Cooling panels can be used for building the stove into a kitchen unit. If the kitchen unit includes upper cabinets above the stove, it is necessary to insulate them from heat and steam, for example, using a kitchen hood or another method. Otherwise, the furniture may be damaged.
The solid fuel stove KVS MORAVIA type 9100-V with a water heater (heat exchanger) combines the advantages of a cooking and baking appliance and a central heating boiler.
The spacious firebox can be easily adjusted for summer or winter mode (removable upper grate). One of the many additional advantages is the versatility of chimney connections.
In its standard version, the stove has three flue gas outlets for connection to the chimney from the back, side, or top (note: when using a glass-ceramic plate – only side or back connection is possible). All these outlets are located close to each other – see the picture.
The stove is produced in left or right versions, mainly determined by the placement of the flue gas outlets (viewed from the front). Right version – all three flue gas outlets are in the right corner, and the oven is located on the right side of the stove. Left version – all three flue gas outlets are in the left corner, and the oven is located on the left side of the stove.
This appliance is not classified into "emission" classes, but since it has a built-in water heat exchanger and a power output of more than 10 kW, it is subject to mandatory regular inspections according to current regulations (inspection every 36 months).
