The Energy Water product eliminates limescale, thereby extending the lifespan of the installation and connected devices. It cleans pipes from existing deposits and protects against further limescale build-up and corrosion. It reduces electricity and gas consumption in water heaters. It creates a hygienic barrier on the pipe walls that prevents bacteria from entering. It also limits the accumulation of iron and manganese, protecting heat exchangers.
It does not require external power supply, servicing, or specialized installation.
When water flows through the MWD galvanic water conditioner, a potential difference of 0.7–1 V is generated. A titanium-zinc anode releases zinc ions into the water.
Calcium bicarbonate decomposes into carbon dioxide and poorly soluble calcite. The carbon dioxide binds with zinc cations, forming zinc carbonate. The calcite crystallizes into aragonite, which is flushed out of the system. Free zinc anions bond with the already deposited calcium, flushing it out of the system. A corrosion-resistant protective layer of magnetite is formed on the pipe surface.
