ATMOS DC GSX boilers utilize the principles of pyrolysis and wood gasification generator and are designed to burn wood as only solid fuel. The boiler body is made of high-quality steel with a thickness of 3-8 mm. Wood gasification boiler ATMOS DC series type GS comprises a chamber intended to store seasoned wood, the lower part of the chamber comes with a ceramic molding with an elongate opening providing the flow of exhaust gases to the afterburn chamber underneath. The lower combustion and ash chamber has a semi-circular ceramic coating. ATMOS afterburn combustion chamber in which the pyrolysis gases gather below is also equipped with a ceramic chamber, which spherically surrounds the outer part of the chamber and improves the quality of combustion. In the rear part of the ATMOS DC GSX central heating boiler, an exhaust gasses duct is placed in which upper part an ignition valve is located (controlled by a firing safety valve pull rod at the front). The upper part of the exhaust flue duct is connected to an outlet to the chimney.

The boiler ATMOS has many advantages like the possibility of burning large pieces of wood. Higher productivity provides the fact that the primary and secondary air is first heated up by the high temperature before used in the combustion process. Ash removal is easy because of the large and high lower combustion. Service and cleaning of the boiler are very simple as no firetube of the heat exchanger were used. More efficient combustion is provided by the ceramic fitting of the upper and lower combustion chamber. Large storage capacity for wood of the upper chamber and plenty of space for ash in the lower one (in the case of wood ash removal only once a week). The boiler is small and weighs little (when compared to traditional boilers). An exhaust fan (pressure ventilator) which provides dust-free removal of ash and no smoke in the boiler room when loading wood.

Inbuild cooling loop circuit prevents the risk of overheating and damaging the boiler or the central heating installation. ATMOS DC GSX wood gasification boiler utilizes a thermostat that automatically switches off the boiler after the combustion of wood is completed.
