The Eko Silver boiler is made of certified boiler sheet with a thickness of 6mm, which has been bent into the appropriate shape and welded to create the water body of the boiler. One of the elements of the body is a tubular heat exchanger in which helical coils are placed. To improve combustion efficiency, the combustion chamber is equipped with ceramic plates. To reduce heat losses outside the boiler, insulation made of mineral wool is placed between the casing and the heat exchanger.
The pellet burner mounted in the boiler is designed for burning small wood briquettes. The construction and operating algorithm allow for unmanned operation of the device. The burner's combustion chamber is self-cleaning due to the movable grate and special scraper. The burner has a low electrical energy consumption, averaging 40W and below, making it an economical and environmentally friendly device, resulting in low exhaust emissions. The burner's combustion chamber is entirely located within the boiler and does not come into contact with the external surfaces of the burner, thus preventing it from heating to dangerous temperatures. The burner operates fully automatically from ignition, through the combustion process, to extinguishing the combustion chamber and cleaning it of ash and residues.
The pellet feeder is used to supply and transport fuel (pellets) to the burner, and consists of:
A mechanism with helical coils is placed in the pipe section of the heat exchanger. The spiral coils serve two functions: one is to increase the boiler's efficiency through turbulence in the flow of exhaust gases through the heat exchanger, and the other is to maintain the cleanliness of the heat exchanger's surface.
The fuel reservoir is used to store fuel (pellets) needed for the automatic operation of the boiler. The fill level should be checked every 24 hours or as frequently as needed to prevent the reservoir from being completely emptied.
Located in the bottom part of the boiler, the ash pan is emptied of ashes through the ash pan door.
The primary fuel for the boiler is pellets with the following parameters:
