Technical Description

The KVS MORAVIA stove type 9190 Simon is designed for burning solid fuel, such as wood and wood briquettes.

This type combines the advantages of fireplaces and stoves, as it not only allows for cooking and heating but also delights with the possibility of observing the burning fire through the glass door of the firebox. The materials used in the production of this model are similar to those used in other types of KVS MORAVIA appliances.

The firebox traditionally consists of chamotte plates with a thickness of 40 mm and a solid cast iron bottom with a rotating cast iron grate. The firebox door is glazed. In the lower part of the stove, there is an ash door. The handles of the doors have wooden grips – during operation, they are not too hot, so they can be handled with bare hands. This type has firebox door dimensions - width 160 mm x height 175 mm, which allows for the insertion of logs with a diameter of up to 150 mm and a length of up to 300 mm.

The intensity of combustion is regulated by the supply of primary and secondary air. The primary air is controlled on the ash door using an air ring. Additional preheated air is drawn into the firebox through openings in the rear combustion wall; this air is not adjustable. Additionally, air is drawn through the slots in the firebox door during the combustion process, which is also not adjustable. Thanks to the supply of this additional air, double combustion occurs in the firebox, during which the gases created during burning are burned again. This process maximizes the efficiency of the used fuel, increasing the overall efficiency of the appliance.
